Description: GRIDIRON 1972 is a print and play RPG where players take on the role of a college football coach. The game has a simple creation system that allows for unique players, skills, and a team that will grow and evolve over time.
Core Tasks:
-System Designer.
-Writer.
POSTMORTEM
What went well:
-Creation system builds unique schools, impact players, and teams.
-Realistic gameplay reflects positive and negative traits for impact players, both on and off the field.
-Teams will carry on from season to season, adding a unique element to the tabletop RPG space.
What went wrong:
-Rock paper scissors combat system can feel bland and boring at times.
-Random dice rolling doesn't necessarily reflect the real world strategy associated with football.
What I learned:
-Emulate real world experiences in your games to deliver a familiar and complete experience.
